I Should Cocoa

Ferrero Rocher...After Eight...Milk Tray...Fry's Turkish Delight...Black Magic. 

They're the chocolates that once defined every aspirational dinner party in the land, and are now being left behind in the cultural zeitgeist for more foodie options. This event, one of a series I'm hosting in partnership with flavour house Omega Ingredients, sought to recapture the magic, nostalgia and pure thrill of our favourite retro chocolates.

 

The event offered a rare opportunity to sample the individual materials used by the trade to create the illusion of chocolate. 

Flavour of the Month exists to demystify and celebrate the role of flavourings in our food, and the powerful stories everyone can associate with a favourite factory food, from crisps to sweets.
